I have this same device and the same problem with the battery being almost dead and barely pulls. I did a search on ebay and it appears that the battery is just a standard alarm backup battery. If you search for 'battery 12v 4ah' you'll see a lot of them available for as little as $15 incl shipping. I measured mine and they are the same size as posted but you should double check yours. It looks like you just have to remove the plugs that go into the battery and reinstall them on the new battery.
