Driver Intel Gma 3100

Unless i missed a bit about them being super unstable or only increasing 3 FPS that's seems a bit prejudgment. Before i swapped for an nvidia board my M1330 did JUST okay with games JUST smooth enough to play but, still enough lag to be notable.

I've seen GMA booster and heard plenty of good things about it so seeing an improved driver doesn't surprise me. Sure the hardware is weak but, so are the drivers not until recently has Intel started cleaning up and optimizing their drivers. Also '* More performance on newest games (5-10fps).-' Basically why are you hating? The newer HD 4400 and 4600 GPU's are very capable. With XTU in most machines you can overclock the IGP, and check out some YouTube videos of Battlefield 4 using HD 4600. Pretty impressive 30-35FPS at low settings at 720p. Gives a poor man a chance to play some recent games.

Heck not even a poor man, allows thin and light machines the ability to play games on occasion. That being said, based on the attitude of the author of those drivers, I'd steer clear unless you really know what you're doing. And make a system image before you install the drivers in case you have to revert back to that. Click to expand.I've never had GMA4500 have performance issues to a point, you aren't going to play the latest and greatest. I've played older Windows 95 games on GMA4500, I even ran Day of Defeat Source and Team Fortress 2 at 1368x768 with no issue.

I am referring to all the threads with people asking if their crappy Intel GMA can play Crysis and BF4. Integrated graphics has a limit, you can't expect a driver install to magically turn your crappy integrated graphics into a gaming powerhouse. It's akin to slapping a small turbo on your Hyundai and hoping for BMW M3 performance.
